OF HATRED SPAWN

Of Hatred Spawn is a death metal band formed in 2017 by brothers Remy Tartaglia (Unbidden) and JJ Tartaglia (Skull Fist/Operus/Final Trigger). The project is the first ever collaborative offering by the brothers and holds great promise and expectations within the metal community around the world. The band also features Oscar Rangel on bass (Ex-Annihilator), and Matt “Coldcuts” Collacott on vocals.
The band delivers an old-school death metal sound in the vein of Decapitated, Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, Deicide, Ruination-era Job For A Cowboy, while staying true to the modern trends of today’s extreme metal. Featuring heavily distorted and low-tuned guitars, plenty of palm muting and tremolo picking, deep growling vocals, aggressive, powerful drumming featuring double kick and blast beat techniques, minor keys and atonality, abrupt tempo, key, and time signature changes and chromatic chord progressions. The lyrical themes invoke plagues, slavery, darkness and the balance of evil.
